Abstract

In the current socio-cultural situation of the development of society, crisis, auto-destructive states of personality are provoked, the consequence of which is often suicide. Adolescence is a period of increased risk of suicidal behavior, since at the age of 12-16 the difficulties of the transition period manifest themselves, starting with psychohormonal processes and ending with the restructuring of the Self-concept under the influence of borderline and uncertainty of social status and contradictions caused by the inability of a teenager to find a positive meaning of his own life, the lack of a culture of ideological reflection, allowing to come to a unique value life. Age-related features make it necessary to provide assistance from adults and implement targeted preventive measures to prevent adolescent crisis states, one of which is the risk of suicidal behavior.

Understanding the issues of preventing the risk of suicidal behavior of adolescents is determined by socio-pedagogical, scientific-theoretical and scientific-methodological contradictions.

Contradictions at the scientific and theoretical level are determined by discrepancies, the autonomy of research on the issue of preventing the risk of suicidal behavior at the interdisciplinary level: the analysis of scientific literature of philosophical, ethical-theological, medical, sociological, psychological content shows that a rich alloy of ideas has accumulated that can enrich the theory and practice of pedagogical prevention, but there is a need for pedagogical interpretation of views on the problem of risk suicidal behavior of adolescents.
