Borrowing and plagiarism

All articles submitted to the journal "Pedagogy and Psychology" undergo originality checks using "Antiplagiat" (licensed version) and Turnitin systems. When numerous borrowings are detected, the editorial board notifies the author(s) about the presence of plagiarism and rejects the article.

Originality requirements:

"Antiplagiat" system: citation threshold level - 85%

Turnitin system: acceptable similarity level - no more than 15%

Artificial Intelligence Usage Rules

The permissible use of artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of an article is up to 10%. Articles in which AI accounts for between 11% and 15% require revision, whilst articles in which AI accounts for more than 16% will not be considered and will be rejected.

Permitted uses of AI include: data processing and analysis, searching for and organising information, editing text without altering the substance of the scientific content, visualising information, and formatting the article.

It is not permitted to use AI to develop the main scientific idea or conclusions, to substitute the author’s own analysis and research, or to generate text that replaces the author’s own writing of sections of the article.
