Abstract

The article examines the problems of modern pedagogical discourse and the linguocultural type of «teacher», recognized in the context of pedagogical discourse. Shows speech acts in pedagogical discourse, their implementation and features.

The purpose of the research article is to show the «image of a teacher» in society as a whole through the linguocultural type, noting the implementation of language communication in the current education system and the professional qualities of today’s «teacher», who has a special place in society. The need to recognize the linguistic consciousness of a particular member of society through school discourse and direct it to certain positive attitudes, which actualizes the pesearch topic, is noted. The differences in the establishment and implementation of language communication between the address (teacher) and the addressee (student) at school are highlighted. The idea of the predominant type of teacher in the modern school  - the teacher of the linguocultural type is emphasized.
