The insufficiency of the function of facial muscles observed with erased dysarthria has a negative impact on the communication and socialization of the child, although it does not significantly affect the sound reproduction. The purpose of this article is to identify the features of facial motor skills in children of primary school age with an erased form of dysarthria. A review of the literature on this topic has been conducted. The following research methods were used: assessment of the physical development and neurological condition of children; tests for the study of mimic motor skills during the ascertaining experiment. According to the results of the study, it was found that most children had harmful effects in the perinatal period, many are attributed to the group of children who are often ill, they have violations of physiological respiration, as well as pathological neurological symptoms of mild degree. It is shown that children of primary school age with an erased form of dysarthria often find it difficult to perform tests that require finely differentiated contraction and relaxation of facial muscles. Mild violations of mimic motor skills were detected in 60% of children, moderate violations – in 40% of children. Difficulties in performing tests are caused by disorders in the control of muscles through the nervous system. The data obtained using the samples used contribute to the identification of the mechanisms and structure of violations of the mimic motor skills of children with erased dysarthria, as well as the optimization of appropriate correctional and developmental measures. Conducting such a survey allows you to effectively dose the duration and load of individual classes for each child when drawing up individual development programs, taking into account the state of physical development of children.
