Communicative competence is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon, which is formed under the influence of factors such as cultural and historical conditions, sociocultural environment, as well as individual personality experience. Competence reflects a person’s preparedness to perform certain activities and includes not only cognitive (skills, knowledge), but also non-cognitive (motivation, value orientations, ethical attitudes, etc.) components. Competence also ensures success in nowadays rapidly changing environment.
The importance of developing communicative competence among employees of large companies is also displayed in the article.
