This article discusses the university's responsibility to ensure access and choice for all, what is this responsibility. The article introduces the context of the policy of Diversity, Equality, and inclusivity (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - DEI) at NU (Nazarbayev University). The article is mainly based on the relevant literature and the practical experience of the NU Graduate School of Education. The importance of properly implementing the DEI policy in practice is also noted. This article concludes with a discussion of the prospects that the NU leadership can consider to improve the DEI policy at the institutional level.
