ELEMENTS OF MODELING AS A TOOL FOR INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF LEARNING MATHEMATICS (5-6 grades)

Abstract

The article briefly analyzes the state of world education in recent years. The rapid growth of technological teaching aids and the negative impact of the pandemic on the educational process were noted. The need to search for ways to overcome the negative consequences in education caused by the pandemic was noted.
A number of scientific literature on modeling is analyzed. Attention is drawn to the ambiguity of the word "model". Areas of science where modeling is applied are listed. At the same time, the importance of the didactic meaning of this word is expressed. The general and distinctive features of modeling and analogy are stated. The sequence of these two processes is determined.
The necessity and expediency of using modeling in the conditions of developing teaching mathematics is shown. The theoretical foundations of the teaching methodology for modeling for students in grades 5-6 of secondary school have been developed. The expediency for the teaching methodology of the interpretation of modeling as an educational action is shown. The article talks about a variety of models: physical, technical, schemes, codes, signs. The work uses schemes as a model.
Thus, the importance of focusing on the essentials is emphasized. In other words, it outlines how to use simulation in math lessons. For practical support. In confirmation of this in practice, a number of tasks were presented. Attention is drawn to the variety of solutions to these problems.
