Abstract

This article is a fragment of the master's thesis "New technologies and innovations in the pedagogy of ballroom dance".

The article considers the basics of classical dance training and its influence on the development of dance technique of sports ballroom dancers. It allows you to determine the key points in the joint work of a classical dance teacher and a sports ballroom dance teacher. The focus of the work is to analyze the methods and techniques of teaching exercise at the barre, in the middle of the hall and including them in the training program for ballroom dancers, taking into account the performance specifics of ballroom choreography.

The relevance of the article is determined by the rapid development of the technical skills of modern ballroom dance, and the use of classical dance training techniques helps to achieve innovative solutions for professional and technical techniques of ballroom choreography.

The purpose of the article is the use of classical dance training techniques in training practice at ballroom dance lessons. The purpose of the article is to classify and systematize pedagogical approaches when using classical training techniques aimed at developing a high technical and performing level of students in ballroom dancing.

To achieve this goal, the article used theoretical, empirical, comparative methods along with the method of interviewing.

The results of a survey on this topic and training exercises for sports ballroom dance performers in a classical training lesson, developed taking into account the analysis of the specifics of ballroom choreography dancers, are given.

The novelty of the research lies in the fact that we offer a methodological recommendation for conducting classical training sessions for ballroom choreography dancers, since the vocabulary of ballroom dancing becomes more complicated, and the elements of classical dance training contribute to its qualitative development.

The practical significance of this scientific and methodological article lies in the introduction of the basics of teaching classical dance into the training process of ballroom dancing. Classical choreography and the ability to correctly apply the basics of classical training in ballroom dance choreography (in the technique of performing European and Latin American programs) contribute to improving the professional level of dance couples.
