Abstract

The article discusses the phenomenon of Generational Conflict. The theoretical part provides information about the history of the formation and emergence of the Theory of generations of N.Houva and V.Shtrausa. And also, which of the various historians, philosophers and famous personalities of the past explored the topic of the continuity of generations before Americans. A brief description of each of the generations since the XX century is presented, indicating the main values and features. The data analysis also provides detailed information on the last three generations, which are now in their active phase, X, Y and Z. Also, these characteristics are compared with the results of a survey conducted by the authors. A comparative analysis of generations at different stages of the development of society, such problems as their place in the social environment, family, education, upbringing of children, is given. The importance of educating generations in modern society is expressed as the meaning of life. During the survey, the authors determined that representatives of different generations have their own characteristics in the problem under consideration.
