The article tells about the life of A. Kobesov and examines the fact that his special contribution to science as a scientist is in many ways directly related to the study of the scientific works of the great scientist Abu Nasr al-Farabi. A. Kobesov wrote all these works of Al-Farabi, if possible, in close relationship with the achievements of both previous and subsequent generations of scientists.  A. Kobesov's further research works made a decisive contribution to the restoration of the true image of the great countryman Al-Farabi as a thinker-mathematician, theorist and practitioner of astronomy and researcher of other natural sciences. Previously, Al-Farabi was known in the history of science mainly as a philosopher and creator of music theory. On the topic of researching the rich scientific heritage of Al-Farabi, scientist A. Kobesov has published more than 200 scientific, popular science and other works of great science, translations from Arabic.
