Artificial intelligence technologies have been developing rapidly in recent years. Artificial intelligence has been identified as one of the most valuable applications in the field of special education. We have considered the possibilities and directions of using artificial intelligence by foreign and domestic scientists both in the field of education and in the field of special education. We studied the achievements of artificial intelligence in the field of education. The article presents a theoretical analysis of research work aimed at identifying speech disorders using artificial intelligence in special education. Currently, children often have speech disorders. Research works on the diagnosis of speech disorders in foreign countries with the help of artificial intelligence are considered. The importance of expanding the scope of application in the Republic of Kazakhstan of the possibilities of detecting speech disorders using artificial intelligence in the field of special education by studying foreign experience is considered.
